Joanne Willis
Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN)

Joanne Willis is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN), mother, and a long-term survivor of cancer and post-natal depression. 

​At the age of 26, Joanne was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, an aggressive but thankfully curable form of lymphatic cancer. After a grueling 12 months of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, Joanne was determined to do whatever it took to stack the odds in her favour against a recurrence of future chronic disease. Joanne returned to study at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and founded Clean Living Nutrition & Wellness in 2007.  

Joanne spent the next two years improving not just her own physical health but also the health of many others through her one-on-one consulting practice. However, unfortunately, Joanne’s health challenges did not end there. Shortly after giving birth, Joanne was diagnosed with severe post-natal depression. Excessive stress and anxiety threw Joanne completely off of her healthy eating regime and her body suffered the consequences yet again. She experienced chronic joint and muscle pain, exhaustion, uncomfortable gut issues and put on a significant amount of weight. It took almost two years for Joanne to get her health back on track but she did it! It took mental focus, consistent effort and listening to her symptoms to understand what needed to be done to restore a healthy balanced mind and body. Joanne resumed her own healthy lifestyle and continued to help others achieve their health and wellness goals.

Joanne also spent several years working with the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK. It was here that Joanne witnessed the ever-increasing cost of healthcare related to treatment of chronic illness. It became more apparent than ever that focus needs to shift to PREVENTION of chronic illness if we are to live healthier and reduce the costs of healthcare, insurance claims and absenteeism in the workplace.

​J0anne’s personal experiences coupled with 14 years of continuously developing nutrition and wellness knowledge and an innate ability to teach in way that is fun and easy to understand is what makes Joanne’s approach to helping others unique.
